Antiques Hunting in Semarang

Today, I jogged to Kota Lama – Semarang to look for knick knacks. I am so heavily influenced by Apartment Therapy, thinking no house is complete without knick knacks and wall hanging. Apparently, there is an art market named Pasar Klithikan that open every Friday-Monday in Kota Lama area. Went out of my hotel at 6 AM and arrived at 7. The stalls was still closed so I decided to look around the area.

The market finally opened at 10. I spent hour and a half exploring all the stalls. There are lots of beautiful items, ranging from knick knack, painting, statue, furniture and whatnots.

I finally bought these two balinese masks for only Rp 170k (around $14). What a steal!!
